Our beginning...
Our beginning came about in September 2017 after a few Facebook chats and attempts to utilize the internet to learn more about TGA. It was hard to go back to a particular conversation or to a website regarding TGA. I decided to use Wix.com to set-up a free website and Google.com for our email conversations. We have grown into a worldwide community on the web with members in 17 countries. We have reached out via email during this timeframe to over 473 TGA contacts. We are an alliance with no board of directors, no budget, no meetings, and no by-laws. We have an ad hoc committee to ensure future goals are consistent with TGA experience needs. Why I created...
Why I created the TGA Project was as a project suggestion one of my medical providers posed. They wanted me to get back involved in something without spending much money. Facebook and blogs didn't interest me, but website design was something new for me to learn. I had struggled with finding, saving, and retrieving TGA information. It was scattered here and there. It was buried in medical summaries.
My TGA was in 2013 and it took me until 2017 to feel like I was productive again. This Project has been well received by past and new TGA patients. The idea was to involve as many TGA ideas and thoughts as we could without spending anyone's money or without taking anyone's family time.
Since 2017, I've met hundreds of TGA patients online. We all have something to say about TGA. Yet we are all unique with different triggers, events, and after side-effects.

Mission Statement
A world-wide community of TGA patients and family members has developed a web-based collaboration of information and topics related to the neurological condition: Transient Global Amnesia. Our website provides free information to current and future TGA patients and their families. These new TGA friends and their families have recently experienced an event that gave them some special hours together dealing with a very unique block of time in the TGA patient's life.
An all-volunteer team administers the TGA Project. Their efforts provide our guests with a unique and comprehensive collection of TGA topics, inspirational testimonials, and varied research resources. We are not health care providers. Our function provides assistance and opinions to others as preceding this TGA Project there was very little unified support to aid a patient or family with this neurological diagnosis. We thank our family members as they tolerate us with their patience, love, and sense of humor.
